OPEL - Corsa C / Meriva A / Bonnet strut holder

Who doesn't know it, this nightmare part GM 09114314 from Opel. Surely during construction, no one thought it could be cold, or perhaps the hood rod simply falls down and hits this bracket. With all these problems, the part made of PA 63 breaks and thus the hood support rod (nice word ;)) has lost all its hold. This isn't really a problem in itself, but the rattling simply gets on your nerves over time. Of course, you can buy this part again for about 8 euros, but the next time it breaks, you can just order it again. Since we have two of these vehicles in the family and of course also the described problems, I took the time to design a proper part. What is now different about this part? * The mounting hook consists of two different materials - A core made of ABS that secures the 3 mm heat-set inserts (see images 3 & 4) - The rest is made of TPU. Due to its flexibility and toughness, it does not break. - The material remains functional even at low temperatures. The model is manufactured in several steps. - The core is printed with ABS (PETG or PLA is also possible). - Two heat-set inserts M3 are inserted into it. (see image 3) - Then the material is switched to TPU and printing of the 2nd part is started again. - At a layer height of 6 mm, a pause is built in and the previously printed core is inserted. (Image 5) - After that, printing is resumed and the model is finished printing.
