How it works
The idea behind 3D Car Projects
Here we go again! 🎉
What sadly fizzled out in 2023 is getting a second chance in 2026. Back then, we simply lacked the critical mass of 3D enthusiasts – but I'm convinced that's changed. There are enough people out there now who are building cool 3D projects and might want to share them with a community.
I myself have published a range of projects and CAD files for the Lotus Elise S1 in various forums – and kept running into the same problem:
Files get taken, but hardly any come back. 😅
And honestly, that's completely understandable – nobody puts hours of work into a project just to throw it out into the world without anyone saying "thank you" or giving something back.
That's exactly what we want to do differently here.
Show us your project – whether finished, half-done, or still in planning. Share your CAD files, tell us about your experiences, ask questions. Here you'll get real feedback from people who are just as passionate as you.
It's simply more fun together. So – who's in? 🙌
